The Good Beer Company (Chinatown) | ThumbsForFood

I'm quite a beer lover, despite the many calories that it brings along. That is why I am constantly on the lookout for places which sell nice beers and I am really glad I chanced upon this stall while I was at Chinatown Complex Food Centre looking for some good food. It is hidden at a little corner of the food centre so please don't give up when you cannot find it! The beer is certainly worth the find [:

As you can see, the business there is pretty robust! The fact that the stall is at a food centre did not deter customers from visiting it.

SWAK $12. This is pretty much like stout, more on the heavier side. For ladies who prefer lighter beer, please do not get this!

Weissbier $11. This is a German Beer and Weissbier actually means 'white beer' in German. The name is derived from the yellowish-white tinge that is imparted by the pale malted wheat from which the brew is made.

Personally, I like this beer as it is on the lighter side, with a tinge of sweetness. Refreshing drink!

Quöllfrisch $11. The beer is from Switzerland and is generally considered the best beer there. Its aroma contains hints of bread. It is moderately sweet with a crisp bitterness to it.

This is my first time there but I will definitely be back there for more. The unusual variety of beers which I can find there is amazing. There are not only European beers, but also American beers there too like Samuel Adams. The price for these imported beers are also cheaper at this stall.

Of course, for the price you are paying, don't expect to be sitting in a posh restaurant or a bar with nice music playing in the background!
