Irodori Japanese Restaurant (Riverview Hotel) | ThumbsForFood

Well, last minute cravings for sashimi led me to Irodori. Ikoi has always been the more popular choice between the 2 japanese restaurants located within close proximity to each other. But, I reckon that I will have to try it for myself to be truly convinced so here I am!

Adult: $35++
Child: $22++

Starter: Green tea tofu

Sashimi plate

Tea Pot Soup

Ebi Mentai Mayo (Complimentary with buffet- 1 per pax)

Green tea rice

These were some of the food we ate. I was there on a Sunday, and there was not much of a crowd.

The sashimi here is pretty good. I really like the swordfish and the salmon sashimi. For sashimi lovers, the price of the buffet is really worth it. Another highlight of the dinner was of course, the Ebi Mentai Mayo. Each person will receive one and it was definitely yummy.

The variety is not bad as well. I have not had the chance to try Ikoi yet, but I will put up the post as soon as I have tried it! Await more posts on Japanese buffets [:

Our ratings of Irodori: 9/10
Must Tries: Ebi Mentai Mayo, Swordfish Sashimi, Salmon Sashimi

 I will definitely be back again as I am a hardcore lover of sashimi. Are you one too?

    1. Hi Anonymous, we actually paid for the meal. :) We found it to be one of the best based on the variety that they offer and the freshness of the sashimi.

      Thank you for visiting our blog!

  3. The sashimi is unlimited or they have limit to it?

  4. Did you have to make a reservation?

    1. Hi, yes we did make a reservation! It's popular so it's recommended to make a few days or even a week in advance :)
