Well, the other day we were hanging out around the Boat Quay/Fullerton area after our lunch at Absinthe and we were looking for a place to just chill around. Indeed, there are many pubs along the stretch but we did not feel motivated enough.

You must be thinking that there cannot be any cheap drinking place around the Singapore River!

And, so we were proven wrong when we passed by this shop!  FIV五 is Singapore's first Tachinomi Izakaya inspired bar. It is modelled after the 300-Yen bars. In our context, it is $5 bar then! Housepours, Asahi Beer, Red/White wine all for the cheap price of $5! The best deal is that this $5 promotion is available all day long!

Yes, this is for FIVE dollars.

Did I mention that there was a huge crowd at around 6pm?
